47 JOINT VENTURES Regent, Ascension opening Texas joint venture orthopedic ASC featuring 4 ORs, surgical robots By Marcus Robertson C hicago-based Regent Surgical Health is partnering with Ascension Texas for a robotic-equipped joint venture orthopedic ASC in Austin. The Orthopedic Surgery Center of Central Texas is about 15,000 square feet and includes two procedure rooms and four operating rooms, Regent said Aug. 10. The operating rooms are outfitted with Mako robotic arm technology. The center will offer services including joint replacement, fracture care, sports medicine, spine surgery and pain man- agement. It is a joint venture between Ascension Texas, phy- sician partners and Regent, which will serve as the managing partner. n USPI building 52,000-square-foot joint venture ASC with physician investors in San Antonio By Marcus Robertson D allas-based United Surgical Partners International, a Tenet Healthcare subsidiary, is building a medical office building and ASC in partnership with a group of physician investors, San Antonio Business Journal reported June 20. The 52,000-square-foot Schertz, Texas, building will house a 12,000-square-foot ASC, the report said. The project is expected to be completed in mid-2023. In addition to the ASC, San Antonio-based Baptist Medical Network is slated as an initial tenant. n Colorado MSO launches group of vision correction centers, announces partnership with Denver Broncos By Alan Condon F ort Collins, Colo.-based Panorama Eyecare, a physician-led management services organization, has formed Panorama Lasik, a group of vision correction centers that will be the lasik partner of the Denver Broncos. Panorama Lasik is a refractive surgery group with laser centers at Denver Eye Surgeons, Boulder Eyes and Eye Center of Northern Colorado in Fort Collins. e group includes eight surgeons and staff with plans to add more centers and partners. "e formation of Panorama Lasik gives us a tremendous opportunity to continue our growth, expand our physician network and improve access to our premium patient experience and premium lasik services," Marcello Celentano, Panorama Eyecare CEO, said in an Aug. 8 news release. "Our partnership with the Denver Broncos will allow us to introduce Panorama Lasik to Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region while supporting our hometown team." n South Dakota-based orthopedic chain opening joint venture outpatient clinic in Oregon By Marcus Robertson S ioux Falls, S.D.-based orthopedic chain InReach Physical erapy is opening an outpatient clinic in Hillsboro, Ore., with network partner Physical Rehabilitation Network. e clinic will offer pre- and postoperative care, nonsurgical pain management, sports medicine and other services, PRN said Aug. 18. e center will be InReach's first in the area. "Our new clinic is fully equipped to provide greater access to musculoskeletal care for this community while ensuring each patient is treated with an individualistic approach and receives the highest levels [of ] care and support," Clinic Director Ashley Grigor said in a news release. n
