News & World Report has released its 2022-2023 list of the 50 best orthopedic hospitals in the US. e annual list show- cases nationwide excellence in hospital care, from orthopedics to emergency services. To develop the rankings, U.S. News evaluated 1,671 hospitals that of- fer orthopedics services and gave each a score based on its perfor- mance in categories like patient survival rates, patient experience, and use of advanced technologies. The new location is the second in Murfreesboro and the second office the practice opened since the end of June. TOA also opened a Brentwood, Tenn., clinic and physical therapy facility June 27. TOA is the largest orthopedic group in the state. It merged with Knoxville-based Tennessee Orthopaedic Clinics and Columbia-based Mid-Tennessee Bone & Joint Clinic in 2020. n Hospital for Special Surgery opens 2nd New Jersey location By Carly Behm New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery opened a location in Saddle River, N.J. This is the practice's second location in New Jersey; the first was in Paramus, according to a July 11 news release. Anil Ranawat, MD, will be medical director of the facility. The Saddle River location provides outpatient care in spine, sports medicine, neurology and physiatry. n
