Two New Jersey health systems — Saint
Peter's Healthcare System and RWJBarna-
bas Health — received approval from state
regulators to merge.
Lebanon, N.H.-based Dartmouth Health
and Manchester, N.H.-based GraniteOne
Health canceled their proposed merger af-
ter the state Attorney General's Office said
the move would violate the New Hamp-
shire constitution, according to VTDigger.
Atrium Health and Advocate Aurora
Health plan to merge into a 67-hospital
system with upward of $27 billion in rev-
enue and nearly 158,000 employees com-
bined.
Yakima (Wash.) Valley Memorial signed a
letter of intent to explore joining Tacoma,
Wash.-based MultiCare Health System.
Tucson, Ariz.-based TMC Health started
the due diligence process to acquire San-
ta Cruz Valley Regional Hospital in Green
Valley, Ariz., a spokesperson for TMC
Health confirmed to Becker's May 3.
Centennial, Colo.-based Centura Health
completed the acquisition of St. Eliza-
beth Hospital and St. Catherine Hospi-
tal-Dodge City from Brentwood, Tenn.-
based LifePoint Health, making Centura a
19-hospital system.
Dallas-based Steward Health Care ac-
quired the property of the former Miami
Medical Center from Miami-based Nick-
laus Children's Health System.
Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health and Chi-
cago-based CommonSpirit Health signed an
agreement for Trinity to acquire all MercyO-
ne Health System assets and facilities.
Dallas-based Steward Health Care acquired
its fih facility in Arizona, the physician-led
healthcare network said April 19.
Edison, N.J.-based Hackensack Meridi-
an Health and Englewood (N.J.) Health
dropped their merger plans.
Peoria, Ill.-based OSF HealthCare com-
pleted its purchase of the real estate, med-
ical equipment and other assets of the
closed Galesburg (Ill.) Cottage Hospital
for $4 million, according to the Galesburg

would shake up the hospital market in Syr-
