A location quotient of 1.5, for example, means a state has 1.5 times the concentration of orthopedic surgeon jobs compared to the national average. Dr. Jimenez is using Centinel Spine's motion-preserving Pro- disc implant, according to a Nov. 16 news release. He is one of two surgeons in Illinois providing two-level replacements. "For us, mobility is key," he said in a statement. "We want to make sure the patient has the best opportunity to return to their normal or better range of motion as possible while ultimately being pain-free." Prodisc is the only implant approved for two-level disc re- placement. n
