46 PRACTICE MANAGEMENT Regence expands 'Episodes of Care' program with addition of 36-physician orthopedic group By Alan Condon R ebound Orthopedics & Neurosurgery, a 36-physician practice with locations in Oregon and Southwest Washington, is the latest practice to join Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon's Episodes of Care program. e value-based program, managed by Dallas-based Signify Health, compensates providers who deliver improved outcomes and lower costs over a defined period of time. rough the partnership, Rebound Orthopedics & Neurosurgery will provide Regence health plan members "comprehensive pricing" for ortho- pedic and neurological episodes, including lumbar spinal fusion, lumbar laminectomy, hip and knee replacement and revision, knee arthroscopy, and shoulder replacement, according to an Aug. 31 news release. "e clinical teams providing care across our nine locations have always been dedicated to delivering care that will help patients get back to their quality of life as quickly as possible," said Will Mowe, executive director of Rebound Orthopedics & Neurosurgery. "Participating in this innovative program allows us to showcase our best-in-class approach to provide high-quality, affordable care and to be able to help more people throughout the region."
