Align, Ultradent unveil 1st
whitening system made for
Invisalign aligners

T
empe, Ariz.-based Align Technology announced an exclusive sup-
ply and distribution agreement with South Jordan, Utah-based
Ultradent Products. Together, the two companies are introducing
the first professional whitening system made for Invisalign aligners and
Vivera retainers.
Align signed a multiyear agreement with Ultradent to offer In-
visalign-trained providers a whitening system using the Opalescence PF
whitening formula.
The system will carry the co-branded name "Invisalign Professional Whit-
ening System – powered by Opalescence" and will allow for simultane-
ous straightening and whitening of teeth.
The Invisalign Professional Whitening System will be commercially avail-
able worldwide in 2022. n
Heartland Dental
adds new
clinical supply
procurement
platform

ffingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental will
begin using Dentira to aid its practices
in dental clinical supply procurement.
Dentira's platform combines multiple dental
suppliers into a single platform and provides
dental offices with real-time information on
pricing and inventory status, according to an
Aug. 11 press release.
Heartland Dental supports more than 2,300
doctors in 1,400 locations across 38 states. n
