Earlier this year, Gramercy was recognized as one of the best ASCs in the U.S. by Newsweek. The ASC has two locations and offers gynecology, ophthalmology, pain management and urology in addition to cancer surgery. n PE-backed Orthopedic Care Partners acquires practice with 33 physicians in Arizona By Laura Dyrda G ainesville, Fla.-based Orthopedic Care Partners has added an Arizona-based multispecialty orthopedic practice to its platform. Tucson Orthopaedic Institute became the ninth practice affili- ated with Orthopedic Care Partners platform, which has private equity backing from Varsity Healthcare Partners, according to a July 22 news release. The Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colo., and the Orthopaedic Institute of Florida in Gainesville are also part of the platform. Tucson Orthopaedic Institute has 33 physicians and eight clinic locations. Steven Zeiler, MD, leads the practice, and he said he wants to continue expanding in Arizona. Orthopedic Care Partners isn't the only platform growing quickly.
