Four details: 1. The new facility will house Ortho RI's Warwick and East Greenwich offices. 2. The facility is 66,000 square feet and has three floors. 3. The third floor has an outpatient surgery center with eight operating rooms, and the first two floors have orthopedic, imaging and physical therapy services. 4. The facility was completed on time despite the COVID-19 pandemic. It broke ground in April 2019. n Tennessee hospital to treat 1st orthopedic patients in September By Alan Condon C onstruction is on track for West Tennessee Health- care's Jackson-based North Hospital, which is ex- pected to be open to orthopedic surgical patients in September. Renovations on the hospital's first and second floors will pro- vide space for short-stay orthopedic surgeries such as hip and knee replacements. The hospital is adding an eighth operating room and a 24- bed preoperative and recovery area. West Tennessee Healthcare acquired the hospital, former- ly Regional Jackson, from Knoxville, Tenn.-based Tennova Healthcare in 2018. n
