Chillicothe, Ohio-based Adena Health Sys-
tem plans to acquire Fayette County Memo-
rial Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital
in Washington Court House, Ohio.
Mercy Medical Center, a 476-bed hospital
in Canton, Ohio, officially joined Cleveland
Clinic Feb. 1.
e sale of Wilmington, N.C.-based New Ha-
nover Regional Medical Center to Winston
Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health is com-
plete, the organizations said Feb. 1.
Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health
Systems ended its lease of Northwest Mis-
sissippi Medical Center, a 181-bed hospi-
tal in Clarksdale. Greenville, Miss.-based
Delta Health System took over the hospital
lease Feb. 1 and renamed the facility Delta
Health-Northwest Regional.
Perry Memorial Hospital, a 25-bed critical
access hospital in Princeton, Ill., plans to join
OSF HealthCare in Peoria, Ill.
St. Alexius Hospital, a 190-bed hospital in St.
Louis, was acquired out of bankruptcy by SA
Acquisition Group.
Quincy, Ill.-based Blessing Health System
will assume ownership of Keokuk (Iowa)
Area Hospital from West Des Moines, Io-
wa-based UnityPoint Health on March 1.
Highpoint Health, a single-hospital system
in Lawrenceburg, Ind., joined St. Elizabeth
Healthcare in Edgewood, Ky.
Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare
plans to acquire Meadows Regional Medical
Center in Vidalia, Ga., for $73 million.
St. Louis-based SSM Health signed a defin-
itive agreement to sell its 100-year-old Mis-
souri hospital to Kansas City, Mo.-based No-
ble Health. e hospital being sold is SSM St.
Mary's Hospital-Audrain in Mexico, Mo.
Boston-based Massachusetts General Hos-
pital abandoned its plan to acquire Exeter
(N.H.) Health Resources.
Portland-based MaineHealth added Bruns-
wick, Maine-based Mid Coast Hospital to its
network.
Wauwatosa, Wis.-based Froedtert Health
plans to acquire a majority stake in Manito-
woc, Wis.-based Holy Family Memorial.
Rochester (N.Y.) Regional Health, a five-hos-
pital system, and St. Lawrence Health System,
a three-hospital system in Potsdam, N.Y.,
finalized an affiliation agreement.
Fourteen hospitals owned by Chicago-based
CommonSpirit Health could join Dulu-
th, Minn.-based Essentia Health as early as
this summer.
Ascension Wisconsin plans to sell seven
Wisconsin hospitals to Wausau, Wis.-based
Aspirus Health. e Ascension hospitals are:
Eagle River Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospi-
tal in Merrill, Howard Young Medical Center
in Woodruff, Our Lady of Victory Hospital in
Stanley, Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk,
St. Mary's Hospital in Rhinelander and St.
Michael's Hospital in Stevens Point.
Evanston, Ill.-based NorthShore Univer-
sity HealthSystem finalized its acquisition
of Northwest Community Healthcare, a
single-hospital system based in Arlington
