Dr. Klemmedson noted that to date, there hasn't been documented transmission of COVID-19 in a clinical dental setting, according to the CDC. Furthermore, a study in The Journal of the American Den- tal Association found that fewer than 1 percent of U.S. dentists were estimated to have COVID-19 as of June. Dr. Klemmedson said the ADA will continue to actively monitor the situation. n DENTAL PROFESSIONALS
