Evanston, Ill.-based NorthShore University
HealthSystem has entered into an agreement
to acquire Northwest Community Healthcare,
a single-hospital system based in Arlington
Heights, Ill.
Glens Falls (N.Y.) Hospital officially joined
Albany (N.Y.) Med Health System as an affili-
ate, the two organizations announced.
New Martinsville, W.V.-based Wetzel County
Hospital officially joined the Morgan-
town-based West Virginia University Health
System.
Urbana, Ill.-based Carle Health has complet-
ed its $190 million acquisition of two hospi-
tals from Advocate Aurora Health, which has
dual headquarters in Downers Grove, Ill., and
Milwaukee.
Orlando (Fla.) Health completed its acqui-
sition of St. Cloud (Fla.) Regional Medical
Center from Franklin, Tenn.-based Commu-
nity Health Systems.
Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health
Systems has signed a definitive agreement to
sell Bayfront Health St. Petersburg (Fla.) to
Orlando (Fla.) Health.
Penn State Health has signed a definitive
agreement to acquire Holy Spirit Health Sys-
tem in Camp Hill, Pa., from Geisinger Health.
Kansas City, Mo.-based Saint Luke's Health
System assumed management of Allen Coun-
ty Regional Hospital in Iola, Kan.
Duluth, Minn.-based Essentia Healthcare
reached an agreement to assume operations
of Moose Lake, Minn.-based Mercy Hospital.
Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health
Systems has completed the sale of Northern
Louisiana Medical Center in Ruston to Alle-
giance Health Management.
Two Boston health centers — East Boston
Neighborhood Health Center and the South
End Community Health Center — have
merged.
Brentwood, Tenn.-based Quorum Health has
completed its divestiture of Galesburg (Ill.)
Cottage Hospital.
Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare has
entered into an agreement to sell Garden Park
Medical Center in Gulfport, Miss., to Singing
River Health System.
Charlotte, N.C.-based Atrium Health com-
mitted to spending $3.1 billion to enter into
a long-term lease and make improvements
to New Hanover Regional Medical Center in
Wilmington, N.C.
Toledo, Ohio-based ProMedica's plan to sell
Coldwater (Mich.) Regional Hospital has
ended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
McLaren Health Care, a 14 hospital system in
Grand Blanc, Mich., received approval from
the Ohio Attorney General's Office to acquire
St. Luke's Hospital in Maumee, Ohio.
Wyoming Medical Center in Casper would
join Phoenix-based Banner Health under a
proposed deal announced July 14.
