Senior Vice President and CIO of Memorial Healthcare System (Hollywood, Fla.). Mr. Sturman became CIO of Memorial Healthcare System in 2018. He previously served as partner at health IT firm Cumberland Consulting Group and spent eight years as a department leader at Memorial Healthcare System. He oversees the health system's IT strategy, implementation activities and recruitment. Joey Sudomir. Senior Vice President of Innovative Technology Solutions and CIO of Texas Health Resources (Arlington). Mr. Sudomir became CIO of Texas Health Resources in 2015 aer serving as vice president of IT and deputy CIO. He has experience with portfolio operations management, financial performance and reporting, vendor management, and IT capital resource planning and execution. Eli Tarlow. Vice President and CIO of Brookdale Hospital & University Medical Center (New York City). Mr. Tarlow oversees health IT for Brookdale Hospital & University Medical Center, a full-service teaching hospital with urgent care and nursing rehab locations. He has previous experience as CIO of Bellevue & Metropolitan Hospitals. His expertise is in IT leadership, strategic planning design and innovation. Phyllis Teater. Associate Vice President and CIO of e Ohio State Wexner Medical Center (Columbus). Ms. Teater began her career at the OSU Wexner Medical Center more than 25 years ago and has been instrumental in the adoption and rollout of the seven-hospital system's ambulatory and inpatient EMR systems. She also provides technological support for the hospital's research IT services and education initiatives. Before becoming CIO, Ms. Teater worked as deputy CIO at the hospital and oversaw all of its EHR, financial and human resource systems. Tanya Townsend. Senior Vice President and CIO of LCMC Health (New Orleans). Ms. Townsend oversees IT for the five-hospital LCMC Health. She has a background in financial leadership and has spent more than 20 years in the healthcare industry. She previously served as a CIO of healthcare organizations and hospitals in Wisconsin before taking on her current role. She also sits on the advisory board for NetApp, VMWare and CHIME Tim ompson. Senior Vice President and CIO of BayCare Health System (Clearwater, Fla.). Mr. ompson joined BayCare Health System in 2010 and now oversees the IT department as senior vice president and CIO. He has previous experience as the senior vice president and CIO of Houston-based Methodist Health System and Orlando, Fla.-based Adventist Health System. At BayCare, Mr. ompson leads technology planning and operations. Jim Veline. Senior Vice President and CIO of Avera Health (Sioux Falls, S.D.). Mr. Veline is responsible for the IT services at Avera Health, which includes around 300 locations in South Dakota and surrounding states. e health system's IT departments serve seven independent operations covering 72,000 square miles and 86 counties. Prior to joining Avera, Mr. Veline worked at Nebraska Methodist Health System and Nebraska Health System, both in Omaha. Joel Vengco. Senior Vice President, Informatics & Technology and CIO of Baystate Health (Springfield, Mass.). Mr. Vengco oversees health IT for Baystate Health, which includes five hospitals and more than 90 medical practices as well as a health plan. He is responsible for the technology strategy and operations, and also oversees IT for Pioneer Valley Accountable Care. Mr. Vengco also co-founded the Pioneer Valley Information Exchange. He has previous experience as vice president and general manager of one of the global businesses for GE's healthcare IT business unit. Laura Wilt. CIO of Ochsner Health (New Orleans). Ms. Wilt became CIO of Ochsner Health in 2016, three years aer joining the health system as the associate vice president of clinical systems. She is responsible for leading the technology, clinical and corporate applications for the health system as well as its cybersecurity strategy and analytics teams. Ms. Wilt has previous experience working on Epic's implementation services team. She is a certified healthcare CIO by CHIME. Deanna Wise. Senior Vice President and CIO of Banner Health (Phoenix). Ms. Wise became CIO of Banner Health in 2019, responsible for developing the health system's consumer and clinician experience. She has a background in working with teams that leverage innovative technologies, including robotic process automation, predictive analytics and artificial intelligence. She has previous experience as CIO of Dignity Health, where she oversaw the implementation of its EHR and creation of its clinically integrated predictive analytics program. She was named among the Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology in 2019 by the National Diversity Council. Eric Yablonka. CIO of Stanford (Calif.) Health Care. Mr. Yablonka joined Stanford Health Care as CIO in 2017 aer spending 16 years with UChicago Medicine, where he served as CIO. He has experience developing and implementing technology strategies and improving operations. e Executive Club of Chicago named him the 2016 CIO of the Year and he has been recognized as one of the 25 most influential healthcare CIOs by InformationWeek. Mr. Yablonka recently played an integral role in opening Stanford's new healthcare facility. n Suki is an AI-powered, voice-enabled digital assistant that lifts the administrative burden from doctors. Suki understands natural language and completes tasks like note creation, order entry, and retrieving information like medication lists from the EHR. Suki gets smarter with use, reduces documentation time by an average of 76%, and generates high quality documentation that reduces claims denials by 19%
