ruled its CEO conspired with a competing
physician group to develop a new surgery
center.
3 changes in Medicare's 2020
final rule affecting GI practices
CMS made three key changes for their
2020 final payment rule that will affect GI,
including dropping adenoma detection
rate from its merit-based payment system.
For nearly 10 years, there was almost no growth in the total
number of Medicare-certified ASCs. However, over the past
two years there has been a return to growth, with around
200 ASCs opening in 2017 and 61 closing. Here are the key
