Lafayette (La.) General Health and Jennings (La.) American Legion Hospital have signed a letter of intent to merge. Brentwood, Tenn.-based Quorum Health has received a nonbinding proposal letter from KKR & Co., a New York City-based private equity firm. Mendocino Coast District Hospital directors approved an agreement that would allow Roseville, Calif.-based Adventist Health to operate the Fort Bragg, Calif.-based hospital for the next 30 years. Effective March 1, 2020, Baylor Scott & White Health will no longer operate a 237 licensed-bed hospital in Carrollton, Texas. State officials approved Nov. 20 the merger of Butler (Pa.) Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems has entered into a definitive agreement to sell three Virginia hospitals to Cincinnati-based Bon Secours Mercy Health.
