They are listed below, according to title and in alphabetical order. CEO Patrick Branco, CEO of Heart of America Medical Center in Rugby, N.D., retired Dec. 1. Dennis E. Burke, president and CEO of Hermiston, Ore.-based Good Shepherd Health Care System, plans to retire in 2020, ending a 31-year tenure. Portland-based MaineHealth CEO William Caron Jr. plans to retire at the end of 2020. UnityPoint Health-Trinity appointed Robert Erickson President and CEO, effective Sept. 23. Lisle, Ill.-based Amita Health CEO Mark Frey is departing from the role. Richard J. Gannotta, CEO of University of California, Irvine Health System, resigned Sept. 30 to pursue an opportunity at medical technology company Masimo. Baton Rouge, La.-based Woman's Hospital selected Barbara Griffith, MD, to serve as CEO. Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., selected Heather Havericak, RN, to serve as CEO. Mercy Medical Center President and CEO Paul Hiltz left to lead NCH Healthcare System in Naples, Fla., Sept. 3. Richmond-based HCA Virginia appointed Ryan Jensen CEO of three hospitals, effective Nov. 1. Larry Kaiser, MD, president and CEO of Philadelphia-based Temple University Health System, is leaving the role, effective Dec. 31. Paul Minardi was named president and CEO of Kaiser Permanente-WPMG Washington Physicians in Seattle, effective July 1. Russ Myers, president and CEO of Virginia Mason Memorial in Yakima, Wash., plans to retire, effective early next year. New York City-based Montefiore Medicine named Philip O. Ozuah, PhD, as its new CEO, effective Nov. 15. David Pate, MD, president and CEO of Boise, Idaho-based St. Luke's Health System, plans to retire at the end of January 2020, after a decade in the role. Marsha Rappley, MD, CEO of Richmond- based Virginia Commonwealth University Health System and senior vice president for health sciences at Virginia Commonwealth University, plans to retire Jan. 2, 2020. Jupiter (Fla.) Medical Center appointed Amit Rastogi, MD, its new CEO, effective Sept. 23. Swope Health Services in Kansas City, Mo., tapped J.L. Ravin to serve as CEO, effective Aug. 26. West Holt Memorial Hospital in Atkinson, Neb., named Ashley Rivera CEO, effective Aug. 26. Maria Scenna, CEO of St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, resigned Oct. 3. Centennial, Colo.-based Centura Health appointed Isaac Sendros CEO of its Avista Adventist Hospital in Louisville, Colo., effective Nov. 25. Odessa, Texas-based Medical Center Health System selected Russell Tippin to serve as president and CEO, effective Sept. 9.
