three states to work as a
nurse, according to a report from
personal finance website WalletHub.
WalletHub used 21 metrics to create
the rankings, which examined qual-
ity of nursing education, average
monthly salary and the number of
open positions across all 50 states
and the District of Columbia.

thesiologists earn the most.

Statistics' Occupational Employment
Statistics to create the list.
Below are the 11 top-earning special-
ties and their average yearly salaries:
1. Anesthesiologist - $267,020
2. Surgeon - $255,110
3. Oral and maxillofacial surgeons -

4.OB-GYN - $238,320
5. Psychiatrist - $220,380
