Hudson Hospital & Clinic opened in 1953 and joined HealthPartners in 2009. As a 25-bed critical access hospital, Hudson Hospital & Clinic reports 1,500 annual inpatient admissions as well as more than 10,000 emergency center patients. e hospital has 60 members on its medical staff and maintains a regional partnership with e Cancer Center of Western Wisconsin. In 2017, the hospital received the Top 25 Envi- ronmental Excellence Award and Practice Greenhealth Awards to honor its greening efforts. Hudson Hospital & Clinic received five stars for several care lines in 2019 by Healthgrades. Iowa Specialty Hospitals & Clinics, Belmond & Clarion. Iowa Specialty Hospitals & Clinics has two campuses, in Belmond and Clarion, which to- gether have around 600 employees and more than 60 healthcare providers. e hospital also features outreach clinics and specialty services such as or- thopedics and sports medicine. In 2019, the hospital earned a No. 1 ranking in HCAHPS patient satisfaction scores for the state of Iowa. Iowa Special- ty Hospitals & Clinics also earned the 2018 Pinnacle of Excellence Award, which honors top performing healthcare organizations with consistent qual- ity scores for three years. Jamestown (N.D.) Regional Medical Center. Founded in 1929, Jamestown Regional Medical Center has grown into an award-winning critical access hospital built upon a foundation of innovation. e hospital opened its cur- rent location in 2011 and broke ground on the JRMC Cancer Center last year; the cancer center is scheduled to open in the summer of 2019. James- town Regional Medical Center earned recognition as one of the 100 Top Critical Access Hospitals in 2019 from e Chartis Center for Rural Health / iVantage Health Analytics and the Map Award as a Best Practices Adaptor of the Healthcare Financial Management Association's Patient Financial Com- munications Best Practices. Kittitas Valley Healthcare Hospital (Ellensburg, Wash.). Kittitas Valley Healthcare Hospital has seven clinics covering a variety of specialty and pri- mary care services. e hospital earned the 2017 Get with the Guidelines Stroke Gold Plus distinction from the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association. In 2018, KVHH received a $200,000 grant on behalf of the Kittitas County Health Network to develop and implement an opioid use disorder prevention, treatment and recovery interventions pro- gram as part of the $396 million that HHS awarded nationwide to combat opioid addiction. Littleton (N.H.) Regional Healthcare. Littleton Regional Healthcare pro- vided care for 33,585 inpatients and 134,367 outpatients last year. e hos- pital received the 2018 Guardian of Excellence Award in Patient Experience from Press Ganey for consistently ranking in the top 5 percent in patient ex- perience. e hospital also opened a pharmacy last year in the LRH Medical Office Building. Mackinac Straits Health Systems (St. Ignace, Mich.). Mackinac Straits Health System includes a 15-bed critical access hospital, emergency medical center, 48-bed skilled nursing facility, outpatient surgery center and a retail pharmacy that opened in 2017. e health system partners with Munson Healthcare, a large system based in Traverse City, Mich. e hospital has a 300-plus member staff that serves more than 65,000 patients annually. Madison (S.D.) Regional Health System. Madison Regional Health is a 22- bed nonprofit hospital serving Madison and the surrounding communities. e hospital includes more than 250 employees dedicated to providing inpa- tient and outpatient services. In November 2018, the South Dakota Associa- tion of Healthcare Organizations honored Madison Regional with a Quality Excellence Award for outstanding achievements in quality improvement, innovation and patient safety projects. e hospital had improved antimi- crobial stewardship with a team-based approach and best practice guidelines. Magruder Hospital (Port Clinton, Ohio). Magruder Hospital reports 35,387 physician office visits each year and 66,628 outpatient visits. In 2017, the hospital was named among H&HN's HealthCare's Most Wired and earned the iVantage Health Analytics Healthstrong Hospital honor for three consecutive years, most recently in 2016. e hospital also invests in its com- munity, dedicating more than $18,000 to sponsor programs and initiatives that promote health and wellness. Maria Parham Health (Henderson, N.C.). Maria Parham is a 25-bed medi- cal facility that is part of Brentwood, Tenn.-based Duke LifePoint Healthcare. e hospital also has a cancer center affiliated with Durham, N.C.-based Duke University Health System. Originally founded in 1925 by five physi- cians, the hospital now has more than 150 physicians and 700 clinical sup- port staff serving central North Carolina and southern Virginia. Mayo Clinic Health System-Red Cedar (Menomonie, Wis.). Red Cedar's clinic merged with Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic in 1995 and a year later merged the hospital as well, becoming Mayo Clinic Health System-Red Cedar. e physician-led, integrated healthcare system's hospital now serves several communities in west-central Wisconsin, caring for hundreds of pa- tients daily. Red Cedar has earned e Joint Commission's accreditation and DME, Gold Seal for its home care services. Memorial Hospital (Seward, Neb.). Memorial Hospital has spent more than 67 years serving patients in Seward. e 24-bed critical access hospi- tal has earned recognition from the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health for Performance Leadership for five consecutive years, most recently in 2019. e Chartis Center for Rural Health also named Memo- rial Hospital among the Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals in the nation for 2015 and 2016; for the past four years e Chartis Center for Rural Health / iVantage Health Analytics has honored it among the Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals in the nation. Mercy Hospital Kingfisher (Okla.). e 25-bed Mercy Hospital Kingfisher serves patients in western Oklahoma. e Chartis Center for Rural Health named Mercy Hospital Kingfisher among the Top 20 Critical Access Hospi- tals in the nation in 2017. In January, the hospital earned the Joint Commis- sion's Gold Seal of Approval. Monadnock Community Hospital (Peterborough, N.H.). Monadnock Community Hospital has its roots in a hospital that opened in 1919 as a com- munity-supported facility. e hospital now owns a primary care network of physicians, care providers and social workers that provide both primary and behavioral healthcare services. In 2016, the hospital became affiliated with GraniteOne, a health system focused on community and rural hospi- tals that also signed a letter of affiliation with Lebanon, N.H.-based Dart- mouth-Hitchcock eaelier this year. In January, the hospital launched an ini- tiative to become a smoke-free campus. Mount Desert Island Hospital (Bar Harbor, Maine). Mount Desert Island Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital employing 500 people. e hospi- tal has its roots in 1897 as a nonprofit hospital with a rural healthcare mission. e hospital entered into a teaching partnership with Philadelphia-based Penn Medicine in 2011, which has become the model for urban-rural part- nerships across the nation. In 2015, CMS honored the hospital with a five- star rating and earned the 2017 Performance Leadership Award from e Chartis Center for Rural Health / iVantage Health Analytics and the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health. Newman Regional Health (Emporia, Kan.). Newman Regional Health opened in 1922 as an 81-bed hospital. e hospital has since become a 25- bed critical access hospital and includes a nursing school on its campus. e people of Lyon County own the nonprofit hospital, which includes 500 em- ployees, 130 physicians and 225 volunteers. e hospital is a level 4 trauma center and provides emergency medical services. New Ulm (Minn.) Medical Center. New Ulm Medical Center is a nonprofit
