Cherokee Regional Med- ical Center was founded in 1916 as Sioux Valley Memorial Hospital, taking on its current name in 2005. e 25-bed critical access hospi- tal includes four regional clinics, senior housing, hospice and wellness services in addition to inpatient care. In 2017, the hospital employed 274 individuals and reported 1,449 admissions. Surgeons perform about 1,300 procedures annually, and the hospital sees about 4,800 emergency room visits per year. Central Montana Medical Center (Lewistown). Central Montana Medical Center is a 25-bed critical access hospital that also includes re- hab, home health and hospice services. In June 2018, CMMC part- nered with Harlowton, Mont.-based Wheatland Memorial Health- care and Bair Memorial Clinic in Harlowton for outreach clinics. e National Rural Health Association recognized CMMC as a Top 20 Critical Access Hospital in 2018. CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson (N.D.). CHI St. Alexius Health Dickin- son has served North Dakota since 1912 and constructed a new facility in 2014. e 25-bed critical access hospital serves patients from North Dakota, Montana and South Dakota, and includes rehab services and Beach Fami- ly Clinic. e hospital is also a level 4 trauma center and accredited by the American College of Surgeons. Cody (Wyo.) Regional Health. Cody Regional Health launched more than 75 years ago, growing from a one-location hospital to serve a large area in Northwest Wyoming. e hospital earned the H&HN HealthCare's Most Wired designation in 2017 and earned the Healogics Center of Distinction award in 2018 honoring its advanced wound care services. In August 2017, the hospital partnered with Billings (Mont.) Clinic on a new cardiac cathe- terization lab, and in January 2018 it opened an orthopedic specialty clinic at the Cathcart Health Center in Cody. Community HealthCare System, Onaga (Kan.) & St. Marys (Kan.). Com- munity HealthCare System includes around 450 associates in several loca- tions across northeast Kansas. In partnership with Kansas Healthcare Col- laborative, Kansas Medical Society, Kansas Hospital Association and Kansas Department of Health and Environment, Community HealthCare System participates in a national patient safety program to reduce central-line-asso- ciated bloodstream infections. Delta Community Hospital is part of Salt Lake City, Utah-based Intermountain Healthcare, a nonprofit health system that includes 23 hospitals and 1,600 physicians. e 18-bed hospital has served the Delta community for more than 30 years, growing to include a family practice physician, urologist and general surgeon. Floyd Valley Healthcare has its roots serving the Le Mars, Iowa, community since 1966. In 2014, the hospital began a multimillion-dollar project to complete three ad- ditions, the largest of which would cost $27.4 million and add 23,000 square feet of space. In 2019, e Chartis Center for Rural Health / iVan- tage Health analytics named Fox Valley Healthcare among the Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals in the nation. e year before, Fox Valley earned the Women's Choice Award recognition as one of America's Best Hospitals for Obstetrics. Grande Ronde Hospital (La Grande, Ore.). Grande Ronde Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital and part of a nonprofit health system that in- cludes 10 outpatient clinics. e system serves 25,000 residents in Eastern Ohio and southeast Washington and employs more than 700 people. e hospital is a level 4 trauma center and earned recognition from the National Rural Health Association among the Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals in the nation in 2018. Gunnison (Colo.) Valley Health. e 24-bed Gunnison Valley Health is a short-term, critical access hospital owned by the County of Gunnison in Col- orado. It has served the community since 1938 and is a level 4 trauma center. Gunnison Valley Health has earned recognition from e Chartis Center for Rural Health / iVantage Health Analytics as one of the Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals in the country, ranking among the top 25 rural hospitals nationwide. In 2016, Avatar Solutions named Gunnison Valley among the top 10 to 12 percent of hospitals nationwide for patient satisfaction. Hammond-Henry Hospital (Geneseo, Ill.). Hammond-Henry Hospital employs 400 individuals to serve the Geneseo, Ill., community and sur- rounding areas. For four years in a row, Hammond-Henry received the H&HN HealthCare's Most Wired recognition. e hospital also earned Quality System Certification from DNV GL Healthcare, and its long-term care living center received five stars from CMS in 2018. e Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network recognized Hammond-Henry with the MBQIP Quality Award aer becoming an HCAHPS five-star rating high performer. Hancock County Hospital (Sneedville, Tenn.). Opened in 2005, Hancock County Hospital is a member of Ballad Health, an integrated health system of 21 hospitals serving 29 counties in Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina and Kentucky. Since its opening, the hospital has launched a family medi- cine practice. Hancock earned recognition from the National Rural Health Association in 2012, honored as one of the Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals in the nation. Huggins Hospital (Wolfeboro, N.H.). e 25-bed Huggins Hospital is a nonprofit community hospital that provides primary care in addition to specialty services for the region of around 30,000 residents and 120,000 sea- sonal residents and visitors. e hospital opened in 1907 and a new modern, $55 million facility opened in 2010. In 2018, the hospital incorporated a te- lestroke program through GraniteOne Health, its health system, to improve access to care for surrounding areas. OSF Holy Family Medical Center (Monmouth, Ill.). OSF Holy Fami- ly Medical Center is a 23-bed acute and intermediate care hospital serving patients in three western Illinois counties. e hospital is a tobacco-free, smoke-free campus committed to providing a healthy and safe environ- ment for patients and employees. e hospital is affiliated with OSF Medical Group – Monmouth and OSF Specialty Clinics – Monmouth.
