Bassett Healthcare Network named William F. Streck, MD, president and CEO. Catholic Health in Buffalo N.Y., a health system with annual revenues of more than $1.1 billion, named Mark Sullivan president and CEO, effective March 1. Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Avera Health tapped Bob Sutton to serve as president and CEO, effective June 18. Lauri Tanner, president and CEO of Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital in Maryland Heights, Mo., resigned after the hospital board discovered she had violated the hospital's paid time off policy. Carson City, Mich.-based Sparrow Carson Hospital's President and CEO Matthew Thompson left his post 10 days after CMS threatened to revoke the hospital's Medicare funding over infection control concerns. Portland-based Oregon Health & Science University Healthcare CEO Mitch Wasden resigned after a little over a year into his tenure. President Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare appointed Ravi Chari, MD, president of its Tampa-based West Florida Division, effective May 1. Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare named Brian Cook president of its Henderson, Nev.-based Far West Division, effective May 1. Roseville, Calif.-based Adventist Health tapped Michelle Fuentes to serve as president of Adventist Health Sonora (Calif.). Worcester, Mass.-based UMass Memorial Health Care appointed Michael Gustafson, MD, president of UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, effective Sept. 1.
