Walton played under the famed tutelage of John Wooden, who coached "character" and "giving your best" first. Winning was never mentioned in the locker room — lessons that stuck with Walton throughout his career. After college, he played on NBA championship teams — the Portland Trail Blazers and the Boston Celtics — and has received innumerable awards, including citations for his humanitarian and leadership contributors. Mixing comic anecdotes with practical steps toward achievement, Walton inspires audiences to reach their goals through dedication, perseverance, flexibility and teamwork. Kirk Herbstreit, ESPN's "College GameDay" Analyst and Reporter Widely recognized as one of the best college football minds of his generation, Kirk Herbstreit has been an analyst on ESPN's "College GameDay" remote college football studio show since August 1996, when he joined host Chris Fowler and co-analyst Lee Corso. He has been a game analyst on the "Saturday Night Football" series on ABC, broadcast television's first weekly prime-time college football game, since the series debut in 2006. Herbstreit was a game analyst on the popular ESPN Thursday night college football series from 1999-2006. Herbstreit joined ESPN in September 1995 as a college football sideline analyst. Alexa von Tobel, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Learnvest.com; Author, Financially Fearless Alexa is the founder and CEO of LearnVest.com, and The New York Times bestselling author of Financially Fearless. Originally from Florida, Alexa graduated from Harvard College and went to Harvard Business School before launching LearnVest, which is aimed at making financial planning affordable, accessible and delightful. She brings her passion for innovative product design to the financial planning space, as she works to revolutionize how Americans interact with their money. Alexa raised nearly $75 million in financing for LearnVest, which was acquired by Northwestern Mutual in May 2015 in one of the biggest fintech acquisitions of the decade. Andrew Hayek, Chief Executive Officer, OptumHealth and Chief Executive Officer, Surgical Care Affiliates Andrew has served as president and chief executive officer of Surgical Care Affiliates since 2008, and he is chairman of SCA's board of directors. Prior to joining SCA, Andrew served as the president of a division of DaVita Healthcare Partners (a renal dialysis and medical group provider), as president and chief operating officer of Alliance Healthcare Services (a diagnostic imaging and radiation therapy provider), and in roles at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (a global investment firm) and the Boston Consulting Group (a global management consulting firm). Andrew is a Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute and serves as chairman of SCA Medical Missions (a surgical mission program).
