He scored the winning goal against the Russians in the second-to-last game—the goal and game that stunned the world. A native of Massachusetts, Eruzione was well-known as a local sports talent, playing on all-scholastic teams in baseball, football and hockey. At Boston University, he captained the hockey team his senior year and finished as the secondleading scorer in B.U. history. During the four years that Mike Eruzione played at B.U., his team won Eastern Collegiate Championships. He was cited as best defensive forward in the East all four years and later was inducted into the B.U. Athletic Hall of Fame. He was a member of the United States National Team in 1976. After graduation, he played for two years with the Toledo Gold Diggers of the International Hockey League, maintaining his amateur status. There, he was voted the McKenzie Award Winner. The award is presented annually to the most outstanding American-born hockey player in the League. The following season, Mike Eruzione was chosen to join the U.S. Olympic Team as the left wing. He was elected captain by his teammates. For several years after the 1980 Olympics, he spent time in New York and New Jersey as a commentator for the Madison Square Garden Communications Network. He provided coverage of the New York Rangers' and New Jersey Devils' games and also did special interviews with players and coaches. He was presented the Shaeffer Pen Award by the New England Hockey Writers in 1981 for his outstanding contribution to hockey. Arianna Huffington President and Editor-in-Chief, Huffington Post Media Group Arianna Huffington is the chair, president, and editor-in-chief of the Huffington Post Media Group, a nationally syndicated columnist, and author of fourteen books. In May 2005, she launched The Huffington Post, a news and blog site that quickly became one of the most widely-read, linked to, and frequently-cited media brands on the Internet. In 2012, the site won a Pulitzer Prize for national reporting. She has been named to TIME magazine's list of the world's 100 most influential people and the Forbes Most Powerful Women list. Originally from Greece, she moved to England when she was 16 and graduated from Cambridge University with an M.A. in economics. At 21, she became president of the famed debating society, the Cambridge Union. She serves on several boards, including HuffPost's partners in Spain, the newspaper EL PAÍS and its parent company PRISA; Onex; The Center for Public Integrity and The Committee to Protect Journalists. Her 14th book, Thrive: The Third Metric to Redefining Success and Creating a Life of Well-Being, Wisdom, and Wonder was published by Crown in March 2014 and debuted at #1 on The New York Times Best Seller list. Daniel Murrey, MD, MPP Chief Executive Officer, OrthoCarolina Dan Murrey is an Orthopedic Spine Surgeon and CEO of OrthoCarolina, one of the largest orthopedic practices in the country with 150 physicians and 1200+ employees in the Charlotte region. CEO since 2008, Dan has led efforts in quality improvement, data management, corporate compliance, and customer service. He is also an active researcher and educator, and is a patent-holder and developer of multiple spine care devices. In addition to his role as a physician leader, Dan's public service includes leading Charlotte's efforts to host the Democratic National Convention in September 2012 and serving as a Mecklenburg County Commissioner at-large. Teri Fontenot, FACHE President and Chief Executive Officer, Woman's Hospital Teri Fontenot, FACHE, is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Woman's Hospital, a 350 bed Level III regional referral hospital for obstetrics, newborn, and women's cancer care. Woman's Hospital is the largest birthing and neonatal intensive care facility in Louisiana, and provides the highest level of critical care for women and infants. Woman's is one of four Magnet hospitals in Louisiana, a distinction awarded by the American Nurses Association in recognition of the highly skilled and dedicated care provided by the staff. It was named as a Top 100 Best Place to Work in Healthcare by Modern Healthcare magazine all six years that the award has been given. Its $340 million replacement campus opened in August 2012 with increased capacity for current services and new growth opportunities. Teri served two terms as a member of the board of directors of the Sixth District Federal Reserve Bank and chaired its Audit Committee. Headquartered in Atlanta, the board oversees the Federal Reserve operations for six southeastern states. Teri was the 2012 chair of the American Hospital Association board of trustees. She has chaired the Chief Executive Officers Committee of the American College of Healthcare Executives and has also served on its board and Officer Nominating Committee. She is chair of the Louisiana Hospital Association Professional and General Liability Trust Fund. Andrew Hayek President and Chief Executive Officer, Surgical Care Affiliates Andrew serves as President & CEO of Surgical Care Affiliates (SCA, NASDAQ:SCAI), which partners with 42 health systems and 2,000 physicians to optimize surgical delivery across more than 170 free-standing surgical facilities and 20 hospital surgery departments, generating more than $1.3 billion in systemwide revenue. Prior to SCA, Andrew served as President of a division of DaVita Healthcare Partners Inc. (NYSE:DVA, a renal dialysis and medical group provider), as President & COO of Alliance Healthcare Services Inc. (NASDAQ:AIQ, a diagnostic imaging and radiation therapy provider), and in roles at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (NYSE:KKR, a global investment company) and the Boston Consulting Group (a global management consulting firm). Andrew serves on the board of SCA and the board of advisors of Sg2 (a healthcare analytics company), and he is a Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute.
